TUESDAY 3 DECEMBER 2019 DUMBLETON HILL
Start time 10.00am
Led by John & Mary 01789 491148

Overshadowed to the east and south by the sweeping Cotswold Edge and to the west by the great mass of Bredon Hill, Dumbleton Hill is often overlooked as a walking destination. This walk sees the hill from different aspects. We walk from Dumbleton Village in a southerly direction gently climbing up the hill on metalled lanes. At the top we take an earth path and descend initially through woodland to reach the pretty village of Alderton. The return leg gently rises across the east flank of the hill as we strike north. This walk provides lovely winter views across Gloucestershire. The walk is just over 5 miles long, mostly easy going over well made paths. The walks has ascents in easy stages totalling 550 ft.

Directions
Travel south from Evesham on the A46 and take the left turn for Sedgeberrow, then left again for Winchcombe (A4078). About 2¼ miles after leaving the A46, take the right turn signposted Dumbleton and Dumbleton Hall. After ¾mile follow the road round to the right.

Further details about parking will follow.

TUESDAY 17 DECEMBER 2019 CHIPPING CAMPDEN & BROAD CAMPDEN
Start time 10.00am
Led by John & Mary 01789 491148

With daylight limited and possible cold weather we have kept this walk from Chipping Camden to Broad Campden and return short. A gentle undulating walk of 4.5 miles, generally through pastures or on tracks. Beautiful views of the two Campdens, the surrounding countryside, and Cotswold sheep. We will meet outside the Lygon Arms Hotel Chipping Campden (High Street towards the church) for departure at 10.00am.

Parking in Chipping Campden is fragmented. We suggest that if you come into the town from the Dover's Hill or Western Sub Edge direction you grab any street side parking which you see available and which is not restricted to less than two hours. It is a short pleasant walk through the town to the Lygon Arms.

There are plenty of places for refreshments after the walk if you'd like to linger in Chipping Campden.

NB. IF YOU INTEND TO COME ON A WALK PLEASE CONTACT JOHN OR MARY THE DAY BEFORE.
