Putting the World to Rights
We currently have between 9-13 regular members and can accept another 3-4 members.
A wide range of topics is covered during each year - including those on Politics/Environmental issues/Population & Immigration/Social & Community aspects/Taxation & Law - and or course Brexit! So, a very wide spectrum of subjects is aired - normally 2 per session, thus taking up about one hour each. I endeavour to let all present have a say and keep the discussion moving forward. Some of those tend to say little but just enjoy listening. It is otherwise all quite informal - nobody has to speak or comment unless they wish to do so.
I think the main reason for the group's continuing success is not only the diversity of topics but the contributions from members present representing a wide spectrum of society and their inevitably varied personal backgrounds & lifetime experiences.
We meet on the third Monday of the month from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at Ecgwins Club.
