Garden History

Do you have an interest in gardens?
The Garden History Group was set up inspired by 2016 being the year of the English Garden.
This is not a practical gardening group but a study of the history of gardens.
In the winter months the group meets in a member’s home sharing their research into various aspects of the history of gardens – design, plants, etc.
Visits to gardens are arranged in the summer months with members being prepared to share driving and the cost of petrol if public transport is not practical.

Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month.
