Epsom & Ewell

Ewell Changemakers

This group will run in conjunction with the Ewell Village High Street 12 month challenge that has been set up by some local residents. They would like our u3a to get involved in making Ewell a Destination by researching why the village is a place to visit. Local organisations and businesses are involved as are lots of local residents. We've already had meetings with our local Federation of Small Business, our local councillors and our MP Chris Grayling who are all supporting this project. We're also focusing on Glyn Hall which was bequeathed to the community in the early 1940's by Margaret Glyn for the use of the senior members of the community for educational purposes and is currently in need of some major refurbishment.
The short video below was made by a member of the local community who is part of this initiative.
If you would like to get involved in this challenge please contact Sue Skelton
