in half at Heathrow Airport - all in a days work for a
customs officer

Malcolm worked for 40 years for HM Customs and Excise. He worked
on every aspect of catching smugglers. He was mainly based at
Heathorw but has also spent time at London Port, Dover,
St Petersburg (Russia) Malta and at most major airports
throughout the EU.

This is probably one that you'll not want to miss

Presented by Bertie Pearce

Zoom talk Christmas Special

Did anyone really enjoy reading Dickens at school?
I mean really enjoy.!!!

Well be prepared to be converted. Bertie Pearce will
be presenting his ZOOM talk on Monday 7th December

Our U3A Christmas Special

Bertie studied Drama at Manchester University and went
on to the ECole Internationale du Theatre Jacques Lecoq
in Paris.
He is a member of The Inner Magic Circle with Gold Star
and has performed all over the world including
Hollywood and St Moritz.

One of Bertie's passions is Charles Dickens,
the man, his life and his characters.
Bertie will hold us spellbound with his Dickens story
with an array of wonderful characters, from orphans,
starving children, misers and murderers to abusive school
teachers, all interspersed with readings of his works.

And, as a final trick, Bertie will add magic to his talk.
