Joining
You can join Epping Forest u3a at any time. Please contact the Membership Secretary for more information by using the form on the Contact page.
The annual membership fee is £20 per member or £36 for a couple joining together from the same address.
We welcome applications throughout the year. Reduced rates are offered to those who join part of way through the membership year (which runs from September to August). For current members, annual membership renewal takes place in September each year.
Look out for news articles about us in local news publications such as Epping Town Life and Theydon Bois Village News. We also run open days in Theydon Bois at which we promote our activities.
There are monthly meetings usually held on the first Monday of each month in Theydon Bois Village Hall and prospective members can pop in for a chat with members of our Executive Committee and Welcome Team to find out about how to join and the opportunities we have to offer.
Members receive a monthly Newsletter that is distributed electronically via email. Hard copies can be posted to members’ homes for an additional change of £12 per year to cover postage. There are also limited hard copies available for collection at main monthly meetings.
