Tai Chi has significant health benefits. It can be good fun, and is always relaxing and stimulating. It is a gentle, healthy, social exercise, that stretches body and mind whilst exercising the memory.
The sessions include a gentle introduction to the Tai Chi way of mindfulness, its associations with acupressure and traditional Chinese medicines and how Tai Chi influences relaxation, posture and everyday living. The weekly sessions include warm up, Tai Chi, Qigong and standing exercises and meditation. We are also learning the Yang Tai Chi Short Form.
The Tai Chi Leader is an Advanced Instructor Member of the Tai Chi Union for Great Britain.
