Bird Watching

The Bird Watching group seeks to foster and develop knowledge and interest in birds from visiting sites, sharing information and obtaining advice from acknowledged experts.

We visit a number of sites, mainly in East Anglia, each year, sometimes with an official guide. In the winter months we also have visiting speakers and social events. Most of our outdoor visits involve some walking but rarely more than a couple of miles, usually less. The reserves include RSPB sites but we visit sites belonging to other wildlife conservation agencies. Membership of the group stands at about 50 and there are usually 15 to 25 members on a visit.

We have room for a few new members – please apply to the group coordinator, David Godsmark, through the group contact button on this page.
