Social and Sport
There are currently two active Luncheon Clubs, several social groups, a Golf group and a Badminton and Table Tennis group in this category. Also, please see the link to Outings on the EVENTS page, and the Strollers group on the Walking page.
Living Well with Hearing Loss (Supported by Cambridgeshire Hearing Help) is primarily a social group for people with hearing loss. Kate Hopkinson is the Group Leader, assisted by Paul Woodbridge. From Oct 12 the group will meet on the 2nd Tuesday, from 2-4pm at St Peters Church Room.
Solos meets monthly on a Sunday, and new members are welcome. The Group Leader is Dorothy Holmes

The Golf group arranges games at different venues about four times per year, starting in May. Group Leaders are Bob Rain and Richard Webster
The Badminton and Table Tennis group meets every Friday 1.30pm-3.30pm at the Paradise Centre. The Group Leader is Liz Daniel. The cost is £1.50 for all or part of the session and all equipment is provided. All levels of ability are welcome and although regular attendance would be helpful, it is not compulsory - occasional players are just as welcome! Appropriate clothing and footwear must be worn.
