Wed Nov 7thMeetingMonthly Meeting at Claygate Village Hall

Fresh from her well-received talk on Windsor Castle at our September meeting, Jackie Clemson makes a speedy and welcome return to Claygate, where her subject will be Royal Westminster – Monarchy, Government, Ceremony and Power. The seat of government and power for nearly one thousand years, this is where kings and queens have been born, crowned, married and died – and where history has been made. Follow the story and hear why it continues to fascinate and attract people from all over the world to this day.

Jackie is an accredited History Guide Lecturer for the City of Westminster, familiar with Royal and ceremonial matters, whose detailed knowledge and lively speaking style make her subjects ‘come alive’ for the audience.
