Ukulele

Girl Uke Player The Ukulele group meets in the Fochabers Institute on Wednesday mornings, and has about twenty members; from beginners to more experienced players. The Ukulele is one of the easiest instruments to learn, and complete beginners can join in very quickly.

Our meetings involve learning new playing techniques and indulging ourselves in playing and singing along to tunes we like, hopefully improving our performance.

Some members will bring along a new song and we always have a go! Everyone makes mistakes, but we learn from each other, and there is always plenty to practise!

We also perform and present concerts and singalong sessions several times a year for local organisations such as O.A.P. and B.A.L.L. Groups

If you are a complete beginner, or if you need advice on acquiring a ukulele, please use the Contact form to let us know and we will arrange an introductory session for you.

Alison Grigor-Taylor and Dunc Overton are the leaders.
