Speaker: Tony Wade

Title: My Life in Boots

The Welsh children's hospice Ty Hafen relies heavily on fund raisers for its survival. One such fund raiser is Tony Wade. He is a co-founder of the Dowlais branch of Friends of Ty Hafen. Accompanied by his daughter, Beverley, he has undertaken hiking expeditions across the World to raise funds. Together they twice completed the annual Welsh Three Peaks Challenge. They then widened their horizons trekking to Everest Base Camp; through the Atlas Mountains in Morocco and across the Icelandic Glaciers. With their help The Dowlais branch of Friends for Ty Hafen have raised in excess of £150,000.

With such a wealth of knowledge and experiences, this is a talk not to be missed.
