Day trips

Good news! Our Day Trips are back!

A day out in Salisbury Tuesday June 29th

We will be going by car and arriving before 11am at the Petersfingers park and ride.
The cost of car sharing will be approximately £5.00 to cover the cost of petrol and parking ticket. You will need to take your bus pass so you will not have to pay on the bus. Please be on time to catch the bus at 11am which takes us into the centre. This isn’t an organised trip but here’s what’s available.
Wander around the market or the town centre where there are plenty of places to eat and drink.
A short walk takes you to Salisbury Cathedral and Museums. We can visit the Cathedral and Arundells, the former home of Sir Edward Heath.
Mompesson House, a National Trust property is also located in the Close. There is also the Rifles Berkshire and Wiltshire Museum and the Salisbury Museum to visit.
Please contact Sue to book a place.
