What is Petanque (pronounced Pay-tonk) / Boules (pronounced Bool) anyway?

Petanque/Boules is a ball game played outside on a gravel pitch, and can be played by everyone no matter what their age or athletic ability. The rules of the game are easy to learn. The challenge comes in trying to master your throwing skills. The game is played in teams, and the beauty of Petanque is in its simplicity. Whether you are a newbie or a master, you never get tired of perfecting your game.

Come and join us at Helen Garden, Meads. Cost is £2.50 per person unless you have an "Affinity Card" and a discount is applied.
