Barn And Folk Dancing
Barn Dancing includes all kinds of dancing-whatever you choose to include! Folk Dancing is the traditional dancing of common folk in the past rather than those performed by the nobility and upper classes. These Folk Dances tend to be simpler in form and easy to walk through and dance as well as being less formal and proscribed. We would welcome anyone who would like to make these part of their ‘keep fit’ routine whilst having an enjoyable 2 hours.
We continue to meet in St. John’s Parish Hall, corner of Meads Street and Meads Road on the 3rd and 4th Wednesday afternoon in the month at 13:45.
Contact Colin Broome or just come along. A lift from the centre of Town is possible by prior arrangement. There is a small charge to cover the Hall hire and refreshments.
