Eastbourne Central

Local History

3rd Wednesday of month at 2.30pm
Venue: St Saviour's church Hall, South Street, Eastbourne BN21 4UT

This popular group encourages an interest in the history of Eastbourne and the surrounding area. Our programme includes illustrated talks by group members or guest speakers, guided walks and visits to local places of interest. If they so wish members are able to get involved in researching aspects of the history of the local area and to share their findings and relevant personal experiences with the group. A charge of £1 for attendance at each meeting is made to cover the hire of the hall, paying for outside speakers and other running costs.

To join - contact the group leader - details are in the study group booklet or email through the link on our Contacts page.
