French Conversation

FRENCH CONVERSATION (Jean St Clair)
French Flag Thumbnail The group encourages discussion and may be more suitable for members who have some experience of the language. However the crucial issue is a willingness to participate. We talk about everything from the arts to current affairs and topics are chosen by members.
Weekly; Tuesday 2:00 - 4:00pm; Ayton Community Hall.

===================

Whether we are experienced in French or just starting out it's useful to have some reliable help for the written or spoken word. The Internet can be our saviour. Try these:

Newspapers:
www.lemonde.fr
www.lefigaro.fr
www.lexpress.fr
Just use a key word to search their sites or simply hunt for subjects you may be familiar with.

===================

Radio:
www.Franceinter.fr ( speech, news , current affairs ) and lots of others are available on app stores.

===================

TV:
Try www.tv5monde.org a global French speech channel offering a wide range of programmes including a very useful section on 'apprendre le fran├žais' aimed at all levels.

Not forgetting www.Google.fr . Again, use a key word in French , eg for a favourite hobby , or 'apprendre le fran├žais' and you will be spoilt for choice.
