Signing (Makaton)

We continue to meet at my home in Doccombe on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 10 am till noon and the first meeting after the Summer break will be on Wednesday the 12th September

We have fun learning BSL hand signs that can be used as keywords to facilitate communication skills with very young children or, more especially, with those with compromised communication and/or learning skills. The signs the children usually learn quickly are 'biscuit' and ‘cake’ and it is no different with our members as we practise these in the real situation at every meeting!
