Alan Browne, a valued member of Ealing U3A and retired Civil Engineer (with Derek Atkinson). Alan has designed and/or project managed many of London’s present buildings, including the Shard. He gave an engineer’s historical view of building London from 5000BC to present day, which included the close working relationship with the City Of London Archaeological society.
