Aims and Objectives of the group:
To encourage discussion of a subject chosen by a member of the group
To discuss a variety of topics which are not political or religious.

Any expertise needed:
None, just the confidence to talk within the group

Equipment needed (rough costs if any): None.

Maximum number permitted in the group: 8 or 9.

Location, day and time of meetings:
Leader's home, 3rd Tuesday of the month, at 10,00 am

A brief description of a typical meeting
Normally a member will choose a title they will 'lead' and will give their views both 'for and against' their chosen subject. It is then open to the group to discuss the topic with agreement or disagreement
Coffee break is 11.00 to 11.20. The leader then finishes by giving the general opinion of the group to the chosen topic
Two or three time a year there is a meeting where all members present take a leading part in the subject chosen or they are invited to talk for a few minutes on a subject of their choice.
