This group was originally a subsidiary of the Book Club as they had too many members and we decided to set up another group. However, Bookworms now runs as an independent group reading a variety of genres but more recently with a leaning to the more contemporary.
We meet on the second Thursday of the month in the afternoon at 2pm and we are currently open to new members so if anyone is interested please give me a call.
We each take it in turn to choose a book for the month and this can be any title at all, provided it is available from the Library and they are able to get us 8 copies. We then discuss it at the next meeting.
We are a friendly group and usually have a lively and animated discussion followed by tea and biscuits!
