Renew membership

To renew online as a current member or if your membership lapsed no more than one year ago please use this link - online renewal. You will be asked to register before logging in and renewing. This will make renewing in the future simpler and more straightforward. We advise that you read the User Guide first.

Print/download User Guide to the renewal process. The User Guide also contains a link to a video going through the process.

If your membership lapsed more than 12 months ago use this form
After completing the application you will be sent a confirmation email and an image of a membership card that can be printed at home or saved on a smartphone or tablet. If you do not receive this email and card first check your spam/junk folders. If you don't find them log into the Member Portal Member log in where you have an option to download a membership card
If someone else pays your membership fee on your behalf please advise the Membership Secretary - du3amemsec@gmail.com

New member application
Before joining we recommend that you contact the leader/facilitator of any group(s) that interest you as some groups may be full.

To join online as a new member click here - membership expires on 31st August. Membership of those joining in July or August will expire the following year. Please do not use this link if you are currently a member or have previously been a member as this will create duplicate records - use 'Online renewal' below. After completing the application and making payment you will be sent a confirmation email and a printable membership card that can be printed at home or saved on a smartphone or tablet.

To join or renew in the traditional fashion complete and return a printed form (download membershipform 2023-24). and send with a cheque made out to Dundee u3a (NOT Dundee University of the Third Age) to the Membership Secretary. Include a stamped self-addressed envelope for a membership card to be sent to you otherwise a card image will be emailed.

IMPORTANT NOTE RE CHEQUES - the amount must be shown in writing as well as numbers even if it is not explicitly stated. Our bank WILL refuse any cheques with only numbers (and has already done so). Please ensure you have signed and dated the cheque.

PAYPAL PAYMENTS
The process is very simple and just like buying other things online.

If you already have a PayPal account, you can use it to pay your subscription if you wish but You do not need to have or open a PayPal account. If you don’t have an account click on 'Pay by Debit/Credit Card'. This takes you to PayPal Guest Checkout where you can then use a debit or credit card and provide the details that PayPal requires. If you see a message inviting you to open an account go to the bottom of the message where you can decline. Your details will be checked and if all is well, the payment will go through. Your card statement will show your payment as having been made to Dundee U3A.

PayPal will email you a receipt.
