Maths for Fun
The aim is twofold.
Firstly to have fun talking about and working ay mathematical puzzles.
Secondly doing some more serious Mathematics such as attempting and talking about theorem proofs.
The puzzle work doesn't require a great mathematical knowledge. More an interest in puzzles and solving mazes and then testing that in the outdoor maze in Crystal Palace Park.A visit to the Science Museum , bell ringing with computer animation, crochet coral reafs, chaos theory, the art of MC Escher and a session of jokes.
We do not sit and "do" maths.
The group will meet on the third Thursday of the month in the Plough Pub opposite Dulwich
Library at 2pm.
