Change of Venue
In future, as the number interested has grown, the group will now meet on the 2nd and the 4th Wednesday each month 2.00 - 4.00pm at Ollerton House Hotel, Wellow Rd. (next to the Jubilee Hall)' instead of at John Offen's home. Thank you John for hosting the Group and for your offer to carry on, it was much appreciated.
At present RummiKubs seems to be the favourite. It is no surprise, as this is a good,interesting game which exercises the 'Little Grey Cells', but doesn't rely on memory like dominoes or many card games. You just need to be able to add up to 30 !!
If anyone would like to join in, you are welcome to come to one, or both of the sessions. The game is very easy to pick up.
Cost:- Everyone is expected to buy at least one drink in return for the use of the room, which is very generous of Ollerton House. Call Linda for further information on 01623 861595.
