Garden Visits

Day: | Monthly, usually on Wednesday, or Thursday pm (April to September) |
Place: | Various gardens in and around Worcestershire and neighbouring counties |
Cost: | According to the entrance fee and usually includes a hot drink and a cake. For visits further afield, lunch is an optional extra |
The Garden Visits are open to all members of the U3A, and we aim to visit a range of different gardens each year.
Gardens we have visited (or planned to visit) include:
Arley Arboretum, Ashwood Nurseries, Badge Court, Croome Walled Garden,
Little Malvern Court, Morton Hall, Painswick Rococo Garden, Stockton Bury Gardens,
Westonbury Mill, White Cottage Nursery, Whitlenge Gardens
Usually, a minimum of 10 members are required for each visit, and bookings and payments for visits need to be made in advance to ensure a place. Payment may also be made at the Monthly Meeting. Transport is in the form of a car share starting from Droitwich Leisure Centre, rear car park.
