The group meets to discuss various topics in Military History, including battles from around 500 BC to 1815 AD, and the equipment used by the armed forces involved.
Topics are based on group members interests and suggestions.
One of the topics discussed was the Spanish Conquest of Mexico in 1519 – 1521 (aka Conquest of the Aztec Empire). The invasion was led by Hernan Cortes, and was part of the Spanish colonization of the “New World”, and led to the establishment of Mexico City as Mexico’s capital.
