Bell ringing (Fairways Bells)

Ringing handbells does not require expert musicianship, just a willingness to have a go and not take mistakes too seriously.
Handbell ringing may be considered a good form of mental exercise and, to some degree, includes some gentle physical exercise too. It is not necessary to read music to join. The main requirements are to be able to discern red from blue, to count, and to have reasonable wrist and arm movement.

"The group meets every Thursday (except the 1st Thursday of the month), 10 am - 12 noon, in the leader's home in Shelfanger. Please contact Sylvia Coomber for further details - 01379 643010."
