Walking
Date - Third Monday of the month
Time - 10.30am
Meet - Variable but usually Metrocentre Bus Station, Gateshead Interchange or Haymarket Bus Station, Newcastle
We are a group of lively, friendly members who enjoy being out and about exploring the various urban,rural and coastal areas of our region.
Once a month we use our bus and metro passes to travel (1 hour maximum) to a different destination. We usually walk about 7 miles enjoying a picnic lunch enroute and a welcome cup of tea or coffee in a café at the end of the walk.
Good walking boots and waterproof clothing are necessary as we walk on a variety of footpaths, waggonways and tracks throughout the year.
We are always looking for new members to join us so please come along and enjoy!
