Each month we read a book selected and provided by Gateshead Central Library and then meet up to share our views over a cup of coffee.
Recent titles have included: Child 44 by Tom Rob Smith, The Help by Kathryn Stockett and Alone in Berlin by Hans Fallada
Gateshead Library Services keep our reading group well informed with advance information about coming events, including opportunities to meet visiting authors and attend literary functions.
It’s a great way to discover new genres and authors you never would have chosen yourself and also share recommendations with friends in an informal setting.
