Davyhulme U3A is a member of the North West Region of u3as, which is a charity whose purpose is to support the work of the NW Trustee and all the u3as within the region. They were formed in 2009 and have an elected committee.
Their work tends to focus on helping u3as recruit members, develop their u3as, support events and encourage the growth of networks and new u3as throughout the North West Region. Their committee, working alongside the regional trustee, Neil Stevenson, plan an extensive programme of events, compile a list of recommended speakers and non-u3a events of interest to NW members as well as providing general information and support to u3as.
