*History Group*
July 2024
We had a most enjoyable tour of Wythenshawe Hall and learnt some interesting facts about the history of the Hall. The weather was in our favour too!
*u3a Silver Cycling Group*
June 2024
This is our newest group, we enjoyed our first bike ride on June 11th. We rode to Dunham Massey and back with a lunch stop in the middle. If you wish to join this group please navigate to the *Groups* page.
*A Natural History stroll in Walkden Gardens*

A few of our members enjoyed viewing the unusual flowers found in these gardens.
*Spring 2024: A visit to Blackburn Cathedral*
A group of us went to see the "Threads through Creation" exhibition. It is the work of textile artist Jacqui Parkinson and each panel is inspired by the early chapters of the Bible.
*Christmas events December 2023*
Again this year we enjoyed a wonderful Christmas meal at Davyhulme Golf Club. A great chance for us all to celebrate the season.
*Christmas get together*
Monday 11th December 2pm
We share a few laughs with a Quiz which is followed by a Christmas Wreath making demonstration. We had mince pies and refreshments to celebrate the season.

October 2023 :An amazing tour of Stretford Town Hall. We loved the view from the top!
September 2023: We really enjoyed wandering around the new National Trust Garden on the former railway bridge in the centre of Manchester.

A group of keen horticulturalists in our midst visited RHS Bridgewater last Spring. We had a guided tour of this new facility and enjoyed some lunch there.
