When: Every 2nd and 4th Wednesday afternoon, 2pm-4pm.

Our group meets on a Wednesday afternoon 2-4pm every other week, currently on zoom but hopefully in the summer we can return to meeting in person, although we may change our venue from our homes to a rented meeting space.
We subscribe to a French magazine, Bien Dire, which is specifically for groups like ours and contains interesting articles, puzzles and grammar tutorials, there is also an accompanying CD to practise our listening skills. To stimulate conversation we have quizzes, play readings and pieces prepared by the members.
In summer we have a garden party around Bastille Day, hopefully that will take place this year, and at Christmas we have a long French lunch which lasts until we have to light the candles.
At the moment we have a dedicated group of 10 members, which we believe is the ideal number for letting everyone take part in the meetings. There is now a second French Conversation Group, so please get in touch from the 'French Conversation 2' page if you are interested in joining.
