Dartford U3A holds general meetings on the first Tuesday of the month, except August, 2-3.30 pm (doors open 1.45 pm) at St Anselm's Parish Centre, 89 West Hill, Dartford, DA1 2HJ.
There is usually a speaker and it is also an opportunity for up-to-date information to be shared.
The meeting charge is £1 which covers speaker costs and refreshments.
There is ample parking available. Visitors considering membership are welcome. Come and see what we do before deciding to join.

A Very Brief History of Medicine
This talk covers the use of herbs and other agents in ancient times for medicinal purposes, through to the development of modern medicines. It touches on the development of new medicines, partly based on the speaker's experience working in the pharmaceutical industry.
