Request for a Group Leader
Barbie (Group Coordinator and also new member of History Group) advises that we should have a Group Leader. She says:
Any Interest Group should have a Leader to help to organise it.
That person really should be someone who has the skill and or knowledge of the History subject.
As the Group Leader you don’t have to do everything. By encouraging other members, you can have others to help you out.
I am happy to support in an administrative capacity but, having dropped history before "O" level, I don't have the knowledge to lead the group.
Would anyone be interested in taking the role of lead?

The History Group’s first post pandemic meeting was scheduled for Thursday 9th September.
Due to the torrential rain that day it has been postponed 2 weeks to 23rd September.
We will visit the site of an Iron Age settlement at Hembury Fort, meeting at 2:00 pm in the car park.
Our second meeting will be on Thursday 14th October (venue TBA) when we will discuss and share information about our Hembury Fort visit and decide where we will go in November.
Anyone interested is welcome to join. Please contact Alison Waple on alisonwaple@hotmail.com
