Culm Valley

Computing/I.T

Contact: Andy Arnold
Venue: Cullompton Library - Room 4

The aim of the group is to enable members to become more confident in understanding and using IT and computing devices.
Many 'walks of life' have a technical language - more often referred to as 'jargon'. The IT & Computing world is a classic example, so one of our objectives is to demystify the terminology in order to aid understanding. IT & Computing technology is all around us in various forms - computers, telephones, iPads etc and is very much part of modern living. We help members navigate this aspect of life so that they can engage it safely and without feeling daunted. To achieve this we enjoy a friendly discussion on topics of concern or interest over tea or coffee. All ages and abilities are welcome.
Remember, there is no such thing as a silly question and you are never too old to learn!
