Family History

Family History is a friendly group of people who enjoy researching their family history, exploring available resources and helping each other to knock down the brick walls we all come up against.

We have two sessions a month – on the 4th Tuesday we look at, and learn about, a specific aspect of family history research and on the 2nd Tuesday of the month we have an informal meeting to do personal research. Both run from 10.30am to 12.30pm.

We also go on one or two visits each year – we’ve been to the Who Do You Think You Are? exhibition, the Society of Genealogists, the Family History Centre in Watford and this year we’re planning trips to the Buckinghamshire County Archive and the National Archive at Kew.

For more information please see our programme or send the group leader Margaret Cox a message by clicking the ‘bluebird’ at the top right of this page and completing the displayed form.
