Welcome to Crowborough U3A

A U3A is a self-managed lifelong learning co-operative of older people who are no longer in full time employment. It enables members to share many educational, creative, cultural and leisure activities. Members with like-minded interests and enthusiasms meet regularly. Through sharing knowledge, skills and experience, members learn from each other.

Crowborough U3A was founded in 2006. Currently we have over 700 members with 80 enthusiastic interest and activity groups meeting monthly, fortnightly and some weekly, in the homes of members, or in hired venues. To see more details of what is on offer, go to the GROUPS page. But please note that you must join Crowborough U3A and pay your subscription before you can attend any group meetings.

We have a Monthly General Meeting on the third Thursday of the month with a special guest speaker, held in Crowborough Community Centre, Pine Grove, Crowborough, doors open at 2.00 p.m. for 2:30 p.m. The Membership Secretary is always present to welcome and enrol new members. A membership application form for new members can be downloaded from the FORMS button.

Crowborough U3A, as part of the Third Age Trust, is registered with the Charity Commission, Number 1128386. If you have any questions please contact the appropriate member of the Committee through the button on the CONTACT page.
