Welcome to Crowborough U3A

The University of the Third Age
A U3A is a self-managed lifelong learning co-operative of older people who are no longer in full time employment. It enables members to share many educational, creative, cultural and leisure activities. Members with like-minded interests and enthusiasms meet regularly in each other's homes, or in local hired venues. Through sharing knowledge, skills and experience, members learn from each other.

Crowborough U3A was founded in 2006. Currently we have over 700 members with 83 enthusiastic interest and activity groups meeting monthly, fortnightly and some weekly. Once you have joined us you are welcome to go to any Group that has vacancies. To see more details of what is on offer, go to the GROUPS page.

We have a Monthly General Meeting on the third Wednesday of the month with a special guest speaker, usually held in the New Hall, All Saint's Church,Chapel Green, Crowborough, starting at 2.30 p.m. (doors open at 2). You will always find details of speakers for the next few months in the latest Newsletter, which can be accessed on the NEWS button, and following the link at the right of the page. The Membership Secretary is always present to welcome and enrol new members. Subscription for 2018 is just £12. A membership application form can be downloaded from the FORMS button if you wish to apply by post.

Crowborough U3A, as part of the Third Age Trust, is registered with the Charity Commission, Charity Number 1128386.
