Monthly General Meetings

Your committee has decided to alter the day of our Monthly General Meetings to Thursdays from September. Commencing on Thursday 19 September 2019 the Monthly General Meetings will be in the Main Hall at the Crowborough Community Centre as we have outgrown our current meeting space at All Saints.
There will be an exception to this – for the December Monthly Meeting, on Wednesday 11 December, we will be back at All Saints church new hall for a welcome visit from Lady Constance Crabtree. There will be no-charge ticketing on this occasion – more information later.

Please join us on our outings. Due to past experience we have introduced a £20 booking deposit for all trips. Please see the terms and conditions form and then complete the booking form, including your mobile phone number, so that you can be contacted during the Outing.
If by chance you cannot go because of illness or unforseen circumstances the deposit can be refunded.
Cheques to be made payable to 'Crowborough U3A'.

Also please ensure you return to the transport at the agreed time and verify that it is the correct bus. Recently we 'lost' members who boarded the incorrect U3A bus (there were two U3A groups at the venue) and could not contact them as no mobile number was provided.

To any group organising a trip a reminder that U3As are included in the list of learning groups entitled to be called 'students' and therefore entitled to free group visits, providing your Group Organiser applies to the venue in advance.

If you have not already done so, please register with the members' area on You will then be able to access a wide range of U3A documents, advice sheets, merchandise and much else. It is very easy to do. You will need to choose your own individual passcode.
