Coronavirus

Follow the link on the right for national U3A news and advice about the virus pandemic.

Monthly General Meetings

Monthly General Meetings have resumed in the Main Hall at the Crowborough Community Centre and also on Zoom.
Covid masks are only required for public areas of the centre, but not for the meeting.

OUTINGS

Please join us on our outings when they are able to resume. Due to past experience we have introduced a £20 booking deposit for all trips. Please see the terms and conditions form and then complete the booking form, including your mobile phone number, so that you can be contacted during the Outing.
If by chance you cannot go because of illness or unforseen circumstances the deposit can be refunded.
Cheques to be made payable to 'Crowborough U3A'.

Also please ensure you return to the transport at the agreed time and verify that it is the correct bus. Recently we 'lost' members who boarded the incorrect U3A bus (there were two U3A groups at the venue) and could not contact them as no mobile number was provided.

2021 Trips

We are hoping to plan our trips for 2021, subject to Covid limitations. If you have any suggestions please contact the Social Secretary via the link on the contacts page.

NEWSLETTERS

The current Newsletter can be accessed online using the links on the right of this page.

Volunteers wanted at the Monthly Meetings

Are you able to help out welcoming and registering members or are you able to help serve refreshments? Greeting and welcoming members is an important aspect of our work. If interested please contact the Chairman via the link on the contacts page.

ENGLISH HERITAGE
To any group organising a trip a reminder that U3As are included in the list of learning groups entitled to be called 'students' and therefore entitled to free group visits, providing your Group Organiser applies to the venue in advance.

U3A WEBSITE - MEMBERS' AREA
If you have not already done so, please register with the members' area on www.u3a.org.uk. You will then be able to access a wide range of U3A documents, advice sheets, merchandise and much else. It is very easy to do. You will need to choose your own individual username and password.
