Crowborough

Events

Monthly General Meetings will normally be held in the Main Hall at the Crowborough Community Centre. Cafe open for tea and coffee at 2.00pm. The meeting normally starts at 2:30 pm. Circumstances may require speakers and dates to be changed without notice.

OUTINGS

Please join us on our outings. Due to past experience we have introduced a £20 booking deposit for all trips. Please see the terms and conditions form and then complete the booking form, including your mobile phone number, so that you can be contacted during the Outing.
If by chance you cannot go because of illness or unforseen circumstances the deposit can be refunded.
Cheques to be made payable to 'Crowborough U3A'.

Also please ensure you return to the transport at the agreed time and verify that it is the correct bus. Recently we 'lost' members who boarded the incorrect U3A bus (there were two U3A groups at the venue) and could not contact them as no mobile number was provided.

The Sussex U3A Network (S.U.N.) have a programme of Saturday courses for U3A members. These are held at a variety of venues across East and West Sussex.

Country Houses of the South Downs

The castles, hunting lodges and moated or fortified residences built by the Normans and their medieval successors on the downs laid out the pattern for later development.
