The Photography SIG brings together those who have an interest in the subject and a wish to better understand, amongst other things, what all those gismos on the camera are for.
Some members have that artistic eye and are able to take remarkable photographs, whilst others are more skilled at editing and cataloguing.
We meet every last Friday in the month at 11am, and our activities range from looking at photographs on a subject decided at the previous meeting, to lessons on how to use the technology associated with modern digital photography. We also go on set expeditions with the photos taken being examined at the following session.
Whether you have a Box Brownie, a compact or a modern SLR with all the trimmings you will be welcome, and, like the rest of us you cannot fail to get better at taking snaps.
