For those of us who are fortunate to be in good shape physically and wish to practise a sport, Badminton is an excellent choice. We meet once a week on a Wednesday pm, and play for an hour an a half on two courts.
Most of us haven' t played for many years, but as we improve so does our enjoyment of the game. We always start with warm-up exercises to avoid injuries.
The game requires hand and eye coordination, so it's a good way to increase these skills, as well as general fitness.
Above all, it is fun ! Plenty of laughs and friendliness; this group is now full but there may be a wailting list.
