Poetry discussion
This is an informal group in which we share our enjoyment and knowledge of recent and contemporary poetry. The group meets on the fourth Wednesday each month, 1.30 - 3.00pm at Crediton Arts Centre.
Our aim is to follow the interests of the group, to introduce poets that members may not be familiar with and to explore possible ways of reading and talking about poetry.
Poets previously discussed include Alice Oswald, Emily Dickinson, Sylvia Plath, Dylan Thomas, Gerard Manley Hopkins and Charles Causley.
In the new year we will be reading Philip Larkin and maybe T.S.Eliot.
