Cranbrook

Scottish Country Dancing

This Group is hosted by Hawkhurst U3A. To join this group members will also have to join Hawkhurst U3A (this is for insurance purposes). If you are interested then please contact Hawkhurst Membership Secretary, Jane Cooper, via hawkhurstu3a.org.uk. Your membership fee for Hawkhurst will be discounted as you are already a member of Cranbrook U3A. Please advise Jane that you wish to join this group and she will pass your information to Peter Hoole who runs it.

Scottish Country Dancing is held in Benenden village hall on Friday mornings at 10.45 until 1pm. Peter books about 14-15 weeks at a time and people are requested to pay for these sessions up-front - this equates to approx £30 per term and works out at approx £2 per session which is very good value.

The teacher Ros, is very gentle and most current members have reached a degree of competence where beginners can be absorbed and helped to dance.

Please also send an email to Valerie Allen via the link on this page so that she knows how many Cranbrook U3A members are interested.
