  • You can follow an International University project called WoMAAC that hopes to help with understanding of ageing and memory. Simply scroll down to the bottom of this page and click on the video [it takes 5 minutes to watch, and it could change many peoples quality of life].

Events & Wales

  • Lloyds closure deferred! The permanent closure of Cowbridge branch has been postponed and it will remain open where possible to "support you through this difficult time". An explanation from Lloyds Bank gave its reasons why it was closing your Cowbridge branch.
  • Oil Central Heating? You can see here that Home Heating Oil prices have dropped considerably since the 25th March and it might seem to a good time to top up your Oil Tank. However the price is still dropping very steeply and if you act too soon you may find that in a fortnight the price is significantly lower. These are unprecedented times especially for Heating Oil prices# so check out the advice first before making a purchase. It's a good time to keep an eye on heating oil prices, anyway!

  • The National Trust is celebrating its 125th Anniversary and has announced that its Welsh membership has just reached 200,000.
