Coventry Sherbourne

25th jubilee

It is our 25th Anniversary this month. Coventry Sherbourne U3A began on the 3rd of November 1993.
The inaugural meeting was held at the United Reform Church Holyhead Rd. Hence the answer to the mystery of why we are called Sherbourne U3A - because The group was close to the River Sherbourne. We have since moved to various venues but kept the name.

As part of our celebrations photographic and poetry competitions were held which can be viewed on this page (via the links)

A great time was had by all. Thanks to everyone who made it possible.
Poetry and photo competitions were won by Bill Day and Chris Porch respectively.
