Group Leader: Heather Brabiner 01482 348765
The Outings Group encompasses several Cottingham U3A activities; the July annual outing; two Garden Visits Group outings in February and October and the Christmas outing at the beginning of December. This amounts to 7/8 eight trips annually and a coach is usually, but not always, hired. The trips are non-profit making and usually cost less than £30.00 per person. This includes coach hire, driver’s gratuity, entrance to the venue being visited and tea/coffee on arrival – if this is available.
Venues are chosen to appeal, hopefully, to all our members and requests are carefully considered. The coach outings have proved to be extremely popular – early booking is advised. Full details are given in the Cottingham U3A bi-monthly newsletter and on the links on this page.
Coach Outing: Workhouse, Prison/Police Museum and Couthouse Museum, Ripon.
This outing is now being rescheduled to take place on Thursday 29th April 2021
Both Ripon Museums and the coach company have confirmed this date. Hopefully Covid-19 will be long gone by then.
