Gardening

Group Coordinators: Christine Bell and Alison Thorne

Second Tuesday in the month (no meeting in January)
Venue varies: Members' homes/gardens or a trip to an Open Garden

The group is member-led and everyone can freely contribute ideas. We all try to take a turn at organising one of the monthly meetings which can vary from a visit to a member's garden to a trip to a local garden which is open to the public - we often have more meetings/visits in the summer months. Some of these visits may incur a charge.

Other activities have included plant swaps, quizzes, showing of gardening-related DVDs, Gardener's Question Time sessions, member presentations on a variety of subjects, and more. Every meeting provides an opportunity to exchange ideas and solve gardening challenges over a cuppa and something tasty to eat.

We are a bunch of friendly and very enthusiastic plant lovers with loads of ideas to share and much still to learn.

New members are most welcome to come along. To contact us click on the Blue Bird on the right side bar.
