Groups

GROUPS ARE OPEN ONLY TO MEMBERS OF COLCHESTER OR STANWAY U3A

Most Group Co-ordinators are contactable by email using the Bluebird button at the top right of the relevant group page. For information about groups generally, contact the overall Groups' Organiser using the Interest Group enquiries option via the CONTACT key above. While we will do our best to answer general questions from non-members about our groups, we are unable to provide more detailed information than is on this website.

We have so many different groups that, for ease of access, we have collected them together in sectors which you can see below. Click on any one of those sectors to find details of any activity in which you may be interested.

The full list of groups and when they meet (so far as we have that information) can be accessed by clicking the Timetable link on the right.

Members may join as many groups as they wish, if there are vacancies, without paying any additional fee. Members can also apply to join Stanway U3A groups that have vacancies without needing to apply for Stanway U3A membership.

If you would like to attend one of our monthly talks as a non-member, find out how by using the General Enquiries option on the CONTACT key at the top of the page.

To suggest a new group, please use the CONTACT key to e-mail the Groups' Organiser via Interest Group Enquiries.

Queries about membership can be sent to our Membership Secretary by using the CONTACT key and selecting the Membership Application button. Currently, a fee of £8, payable by Direct Debit, will cover new members until the next full renewal date of 1st May 2020.

Only the day of the week is shown below for meetings but most groups meet monthly or fortnightly. A group's own page will have more detailed information.

When you have looked at what our Interest Groups have to offer, see more about us on Facebook by using the link on the right. And don't forget to 'like' us!
