Scrabble
Welcome to the Scrabble Group. We meet at the Tennis Club, Sleaford Road, Boston at 2pm and play on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month.
We have a mixture of players: some who are experienced, some who have not played for a while and those who are new to the game. You do not have to be an expert with words. It is the luck of the draw when you take seven letters out of the bag.
If you like words and have a sense of fun, like good company and want to keep your brain active and have a cuppa with biscuits half way through, come along and join us. We are very sociable and like a chat whilst hopefully improving our word power.
Some of us meet early and have lunch at the Tennis Club before we start Scrabble - it is nice to have a bit of extra socializing before we play. Scrabble is a fun group, each time we play we learn a new word or two, so new players are most welcome.
