Crossways & Villages

Walking

STOP PRESS: - JANUARY 2022

Carol Gadsden is thinking of doing a Corfe Castle walk like she did with another group. It was all on pavement / gravel but with fantastic views around Corfe.
She is thinking about Thurs 20 Jan 2022, meeting at Crossways Village Hall, to share lifts, at 10am OR at 10. 30 am at Corfe Nationsal Trust car park. If you are a N.T. member bring your card to save on parking charges.

It will be a 40 min walk to the farm & then back again. A bit of time looking round Corfe Shops and Cafe Stop.
Please let me know
a) if you would like to come or not
b) if you are meeting at Crossways or Corfe Castle car park,
c) If you don’t wish to receive emails about the walking group anymore.

Crossways Walking group has been enjoying walks for over a year now. We aim to put on 2 walks per month of between 2 and 6 miles, on either a Monday or Thursday afternoon.

If a lift is required, people should meet at Crossways Village Hall at 13:30. Alternatively, you can go directly to the walk starting point. We aim to start walking promptly at 14:00.

Anyone who wishes to attend our walks should contact the walk leader directly.
Walks can still be muddy and slippery, so walking boots are strongly advised, together with waterproof clothing in a rucksack plus a drink and snack.
We have walked from Tadnoll, Wool, Ringstead, Durdle Dor and further afield Corfe Castle and Arne. With lighter days ahead, we may go to Symondsbury and re-visit Arne.

Join us on delightful walks in our superb Dorset countryside. Our walks usually end at a local cafe or pub for refreshments
